This project aims to explore the integration of Roles and Reputations into Optimism Fractal with the goal of enhancing the utility and visual interfaces for Respect, role allocation, and user engagement through an automated system based on accrued Respect.
Roles and Reputations is a dynamic framework designed to manage and assign roles based on decentralized and transparent reputation systems. It utilizes a Multi Token ERC-1155 Collection that records interactions and contributions within communities, allowing for the allocation of reputation and role-specific permissions based on those interactions. This system supports a permissionless and flexible approach to manage roles within any decentralized entity.
The Roles and Reputation framework can synergize the Respect Game by automating role assignments based on accrued Respect via Hats Protocol, offering a modular code repository for fractal app development, and providing a flexible user interface. There are many potential benefits for Optimism Fractal and the tasks below aim to scope the best opportunities for implementation.
The project started as task called Research Roles and Reputations System (from Jacob Homanics with ATX DAO), which is in the Integrate with Hats Protocol project but I created a project here to make it easier to manage since the task has grown in scope
